Supporting the future leaders of tomorrow by providing school supplies and scholarships to local Tacoma students.
Below is some of the impact we've made our first year and we're just getting started! All of those who graciously donated ensured students received back-to-school supplies and gave scholarships to graduating high school seniors entering their first year of college who showed a commitment to social justice.
Thanks to all of the attendees of Panago's viewing and memorial we collectively raised over 2,000 pieces of school supplies for Jason Lee Middle School students! This included brand new backpacks, notepads, pens, pencils, notebooks, paper, binders, art supplies and more!
Our generous community members and loved ones raised upwards of $26,000 since 2018 school year for our graduating high school senior(s) from local Tacoma schools. The young people chosen demonstrated exemplary grit in the face of adversity and showed a commitment to social justice.
We have two programs at The Panago Foundation. Our school supply program provides supplies such as backpacks, binders, notebooks, and art supplies to schools where students are often in need of the tools to help them successfully complete their work both in school and homework assignments after school. Our scholarship program provides funds needed to support students through their first year of post-secondary education.

We are run by a dedicated team of volunteers who started the work out of their love for Panago Horton. Their collective love for the community that Panago was a part of gets the work done. We are always welcoming new volunteers to get involved whether you want to support logistics, host a fundraiser, donate, or volunteer your time for an event. To contact us, please fill out the form on the volunteer page or use the email at the bottom of the page and tell us how you would like to help. We would love to have you and will get back to you at our soonest opportunity.
We are always needing extra hands to roll out our annual back-to-school drive and fundraisers.
There are a myriad of tasks required to keep The Panago Foundation going. If you would like to let us know your skills or expertise we can find a volunteer opportunity that can fit your preferences.
Our programs require funding from generous local citizens or by larger grants that we receive. To donate any small or large amount please press "donate" below.
